Silver Spring Public Safety Awards

Public safety has been a major concern for businesses, residents and visitors in downtown Silver Spring. The Silver  Spring Safety Alliance was created to improve communication and coordination between public safety agencies and the business community. The chamber is now honoring the people doing that work while examining the challenges that remain. Stephanie Helsing shares why the initiative matters.
