DC Council reviews transit plans for new Commanders stadium

Officials from Metro, DDOT and the Washington Commanders presented a transit-first strategy to the DC Council for the new $3.7 billion stadium opening in 2030. Because the venue will feature significantly less parking than the historic RFK Stadium, over half of the estimated 65,000 fans will need to rely on public transportation.
