Johnson’s future as speaker rides on midterms
NOTUS reporter Reese Gorman spent a few days on the road following House Speaker Mike Johnson as he campaigns ahead of the midterms. “If they keep the majority, he will stay speaker for sure,” Gorman told Jim Lokay on The Final 5, but Republican losses could cloud his future not just in leadership, but in Congress.
