Hundreds of Reston condo residents left without AC during brutal heat wave

More than 600 homes at the Vantage Hill condominiums in Reston are without air conditioning after the complex's central cooling system failed last year. Residents are barred from installing personal window or portable units due to electrical overload risks, leaving them with no relief until a major electrical upgrade is completed in 2027.
