Arkansas commit Jordan Smith gives back through Special Olympics clinic
Paul VI basketball standout Jordan Smith is one of the nation’s top student-athletes — and he’s using that platform to serve others. Less than a day after announcing his commitment to the University of Arkansas, Smith and his teammates took part in a Special Olympics clinic, encouraging athletes with special needs and helping them build confidence on the court. Smith says working with the special-needs community is more than a one-day event — it’s his passion, and he plans to continue that work in college. Smith is a McDonald’s All-American and is preparing to help lead Paul VI in its push for a WCAC championship, while keeping a message from his parents at the center of it all: life is bigger than basketball.
