Massive D.C. apartment fire forces families from 24 units

More than 150 firefighters battled flames that tore through the roof of a three-story apartment building in Southeast D.C. One firefighter suffered a minor injury, no residents were hurt and crews rescued a dog trapped on a third-floor balcony. Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
