Master boat captain, brain tumor survivor and Prince George's County Police Department Corporal Nashawn Taylor joins us on The Good Word! Nashawn shares her incredible story from being diagnosed with a brain tumor to undergoing emergency brain tumor surgery in September. She is also a Master Captain for her private charter boating company, and she is a scuba diver for the Prince George's County Police Department. Just 8 months after her brain tumor surgery, she is back on the water and back on the force, focusing on community engagement between police and young people.
