How 'Crunchy Life' books are changing the game

Getting kids to develop reading skills is hard enough. It is even harder when they do not see themselves represented in literary works. In northeast D.C., a book series has been launched that diversifies books, helping children develop a love for reading through representation. Glen Mourning, the "Crunchy Life" author, talks about his journey to becoming an avid reader, how he wants to spread that knowledge to underrepresented kids in the community and paying it forward.
