Prince Georges County therapist pens book to help young people cope with gun violence
Tyreese McAllister lost her daughter, Ayana, to senseless gun violence in 2017. When the Prince George?s based therapist, McAllister, looked for books to give to her young family members to help explain loss, she could not find any. So that?s when McAllister decided to take matters into her own hands.
