Emergency responders preparing for surge in COVID-19 cases

Many people feeling like they have symptoms of COVID-19 are resting at home unless they become so sick they need a doctor’s care. If they call 911, firefighters and EMTs are the ones who respond. Local crews are preparing for a surge in activity, among them -- some volunteer students from the University of Maryland.
