Laurel road washed out by flood
A weekend of drenching rain has left behind flooded roadways and downed trees across the area Monday. In Laurel, a swollen Little Patuxent River has flooded its banks washing away part of a roadway along Route 198 (Fort Meade Road) at Bald Eagle Drive. Police have closed the roadway at this time.
