DC Mayor, Police Dept. say District will not enforce civil immigration laws

In a press conference to discuss the Metropolitan Police Department?s Cadet Program, Acting Chief Peter Newsham and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said that the District would not enforce U.S. civil immigration laws.
