Gill on Newsom, DC police takeover, "Sandwich Guy"

Dr. Alison Gill, host of The Daily Beans, joined The Final 5 to discuss Gov. Gavin Newsom?s recent moves and the political climate in both California and DC. She said Newsom has shifted course after criticism from progressives. Gill also pushed back on narratives portraying DC as unsafe, and questioned whether high-profile ?political prosecutions,? like the so-called ?Sandwich Guy? case, can hold up in federal court.
