Attempted robbery at jewelry store ends with woman shot in NW DC

A Metro Transit Police officer shot a woman in the leg near the Dupont Circle Metro station after she was reportedly involved in an attempted robbery at a nearby jewelry store. A man was also detained in connection to the alleged robbery.
