The ongoing fight to close the gender pay gap
Today is Equal Pay Day, marking the date into the year women have to work in order to earn what men earned the previous year. The fight for equity continues as women still make only 78 cents to the dollar compared to their male counterparts -- with the gap even wider for women of color. Dr. Avis Jones-DeWeever, author of "How Exceptional Black Women Lead," joined us to discuss the fight and what needs to be done to achieve parity.
