Contentious Senate hearing on social media draws criticism

The CEOs of five major social media companies went before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday in a showdown over the harmful effects their apps have on children. As Washington continues to bandy about ways to regulate access to social media, Jessica Melugin of the Competitive Enterprise Institute says the best protection starts at home.
