DC attorney general sues chemical companies

D.C.'s attorney general announced a lawsuit Tuesday against more than 25 chemical companies for manufacturing and selling products containing PFA's that now pollute D.C.'s water supply. The office of the attorney general claims the companies knew the PFA's in their chemicals posed significant health and environmental risks but actively hid that information. The AG is looking to recover costs needed to monitor and treat contaminated water.
