Bowser names new directors for DYRS and DC Health
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser introduced new agency leaders to her cabinet Thursday. Sam Abed will become director of the Department of Youth and Rehabilitation Services. He's been a top juvenile justice official with the state of Maryland. Dr. Ayanna Bennett has been appointed acting director of the D.C. Department of Health.
