Billionaire Elon Musk has agreed to buy Twitter. Musk sent a letter to the social media company saying he intends to buy the platform for the original $44 billion price tag. Twitter had sued Musk after he tried to back out of the acquisition. The company's shares spiked after news of the sale went public.
