Entering the third week of the season, some teams are off to a fast start, but things are already starting to look bleak for multiple teams.
Eight teams are sitting at 0-2 with the possibility of half, if not all of them dropping to 0-3 by the end of the weekend.
The current winless teams are the Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, and the Washington Commanders.
However, there is hope because some 0–2 teams have made it to the postseason despite the slow start. Last season, the Chicago Bears, Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers started 0-2 and made the playoffs. Since 1990, only 12.8% of teams to start 0-2 have made the postseason, according to NFL.com.
Meanwhile, several other teams are ravaged by injuries to their starting quarterbacks and will have to rally around their backups to temporarily keep the team afloat until their star QBs return.
