Man dead after early morning July 4th shooting in Langley Park

LANGLEY PARK, Md. - Police in Prince George's County are investigating an early morning homicide in the Langley Park area.

Officers say they received a call for a shooting in the 8300 block of 14th Avenue at around 3:10 a.m. Wednesday.

When they arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

No suspects or motives have been released at this time. The investigating is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-866-411-TIPS.
