Body found in Potomac River near Key Bridge

WASHINGTON - Investigators say human remains were discovered on the shore of the Potomac River near the Francis Scott Key Bridge Wednesday morning.

The remains were found in the water just off of the 3500 block of Water Street.

Fire officials say it appears that the body had been in the water for some time. The remains have not been identified.

The investigation is still continuing.
