DC Weather Authority: Scattered showers, strong storms possible in parts of region

A cluster of storms moving in from Ohio could bring damaging winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning to parts of the DMV. Showers are possible by midday, especially west of the Beltway, with highs in the low to mid-80s.
