Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for much of DMV; Heat Advisory for parts of Virginia

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Washington, D.C. and much of the surrounding parts of Maryland and Virginia Wednesday as hot and humid conditions continue, with highs around 90 degrees and heat index values that could climb over 100 degrees.
