Redskins acquire QB Case Keenum, 7th round pick in exchange for 6th round selection
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - The Washington Redskins are adding to their depleted quarterback depth by acquiring Case Keenum from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a draft pick.
The Redskins will also get a seventh-round draft pick in the deal, while they give up a sixth-round selection.
According to Ian Rapoport, Keenum will challenge Colt McCoy for the starting job.
Washington needed to add depth under center as Alex Smith continues to recover from a broken leg he suffered during the 2018 season.
