Webcams show beach towns covered in snow

'Covered in snow' is not the way you're used to seeing your favorite beach towns - but that's the way many of them along the Delmarva Peninsula looked on President's Day!

Ocean City, in Maryland, and Bethany Beach and Rehoboth Beach, both in Delaware, were blanketed in the white stuff Monday.

A look at their web cams showed the proof.

One view in Ocean City near Somerset Street and the Boardwalk showed snow covered sand where you are accustomed to seeing beach-goers. Another cam at the Ocean Gallery on the Boardwalk shows empty, snow-covered boards.

A look from a cam in Bethany Beach showed a cold scene near the ocean-front restaurants and shops.

And you couldn't even see the beach through the snow when looking at a cam in Rehoboth.

Don't worry - the snow will soon melt and the sun will soon shine. Temperatures will climb and the summer will be here before you know it. And then when we check out these webcams, we'll see the beaches, the boards and the people the way we're used to seeing them.

But in the meantime - check out these snowy cool views!
