Teenager receives award for life-saving action to save unconscious customer

A Maryland teenager was recognized for his life saving actions when he discovered an unconscious man on the floor of a 7-11 bathroom.

17 year old Austin Wilson was working at a Glen Burnie, MD 7-11 when he noticed that a customer had spent an excessive amount of time in the bathroom. Austin went into the bathroom and found the man unconscious on the floor. He recognized signs of an overdose and called 911. The Anne Arundel County State's Attorney says that Austin saved the man's life.

Last week, Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Wes Adams gave Austin a citation acknowledging his actions.
