Students use inflatable mattress to cross flooded streets at James Madison University

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The heavy rain that passed over northern Virginia Tuesday also brought heavy flooding to areas of Harrisonburg. Students at James Madison University posted this video to YouTube. It shows heavy flooding cutting across the university's campus.

In the video, some students appear to use an inflatable mattress to cross flooded streets. Students can also be seen walking through campus as flood waters stream over pedestrian bridges.

Other areas of Virginia, like Leesburg, also experienced heavy flooding.
