Police: Suspects who raided Victoria's Secret store identified; arrest warrants issued

Police have identified a woman and a teen they say are responsible for raiding a women's clothing store at a Charles County mall.

Investigators have issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Alexis Shakira Preston of Washington, D.C. and say a warrant will also be issued for a 17-year-old female from the District.

The incident happened on April 27 at a Victoria's Secret store at the St. Charles Towne Center in Waldorf.

Police say the suspects entered the store with a lawn-sized trash bag and stole 12 tank tops, 36 hooded sweatshirts, 24 pants, and 12 shorts from a front display. They then fled the scene but not before bystanders captured the incident on video.

Detectives say they recently searched an address in D.C. where they recovered numerous items believed to have been stolen from the store during the incident.
