Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Va. - Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Gainesville. The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. at Linton Hall Road and Limestone Drive.

It is unclear at this time what caused the accident.

Area traffic will be slow until emergency crews clear the scene.
