Woman arrested for injuring another passenger during Metrobus altercation

WASHINGTON - A female passenger was arrested after injuring another woman on a Metrobus nearby the Walmart store in the NoMa neighborhood, police say.

According to Metro Transit Police, they responded to 1st Street and H Street in Northwest D.C. for a report of an altercation between two passengers. At the scene, they found the 48-year-old victim with a non-life-threatening laceration to her arm. She was taken to the hospital for her injury.

The 36-year-old female suspect was located by police a short distance away and was arrested after being identified by the victim and witnesses, police say.
