Second Metro attack involving teens reported

Metro said there was a second attack involving a group of teenagers at a Metro station on Thursday.

According to the transit agency, the teens struck a man with a thrown snowball at the Judiciary Square station at around 5 p.m. and subsequently assaulted him.

Afterwards, the group jumped onto a Red Line train, but was later intercepted by police at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station.

However, the victim was unable to positively identify the suspects because his glasses had been knocked off and the group was eventually let go.

The victim declined medical treatment.

Earlier Thursday morning, another group of teens was involved in an assault at Metro. Six students from Woodrow Wilson High School were arrested in what is being called a "wolfpack attack" after a man was injured on the Gallery Place-Chinatown station platform.
