Power problems cause delays across parts of several Metro lines
WASHINGTON - Commuters faced major delays across parts of the Blue, Silver and Yellow lines Tuesday after power problems shut down sections of track.
Buses were brought in to move riders between stations.
Tuesday's delays came at the same time scheduled track work along portions of the transit system's Orange, Blue and Silver lines already have slowed rides.
The morning delays lasted several hours before service was restored.
