Owl rescued from Anne Arundel County road during rush-hour traffic
PASADENA, Md. - An owl was rescued from a roadway in Anne Arundel County during rush-hour traffic Wednesday morning.
Maryland Natural Resources Police said the Barred Owl was likely struck by a vehicle on Route 100 near Route 10.
Officers were able to help the owl and have it checked by a veterinarian.
Maryland Natural Resources Police reported on Thursday that the owl was "feisty" and feeling better at Frisky's Wildlife and Primate Sanctuary in Howard County.
