D.C. firefighter critically injured in crash passes away

D.C. firefighters are mourning the death of one of their own.

Firefighter Robert Marshall was critically hurt when he was involved in a vehicle crash last week along Interstate 81 in Pennsylvania. He passed away Saturday as a result of his injuries.

Marshall served as a firefighter for nearly 20 years. He was part of Engine 29, located in northwest D.C.

Colleagues and friends tell FOX 5 they are keeping Marshall and his family in their prayers.
