Car crashes into Capital Bikeshare station

WASHINGTON - An accident caused a car to crash into bicycles at a Capital Bikeshare station nearby the Benning Road Metro station.

D.C. police say the crash involving the silver vehicle happened at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Benning Road and East Capitol Street in Northeast D.C.

At least one person was injured, according to police.

Property damage caused the bikeshare station to go out of service.
