George Washington Memorial Parkway bridge repairs expected to cause delays into the fall

Drivers along a section of the George Washington Memorial Parkway can expect delays for several months during a bridge repair project.

The repair work will take place along the Windy Run Bridge. Repairs began on July 30 and will continue into the fall, officials say.

Road crews will reduce the number of travel lanes and shift traffic lanes during rush hour. The speed limit will also be reduced.
