Mount Vernon
Mount Vernon Daytime Fireworks
An American Celebration at Mount Vernon, with smoke fireworks, military reenactments, a wreath-laying ceremony, birthday cake and more. New this year: 600 limited-edition aged George Washington Rye Whiskey 375 mL bottles will be available for purchase at 10 a.m. for $185 each.

Fairfax Independence Day Celebration .

National Mall Independence Day Celebration
Looking to celebrate the Fourth in the District this year? Well what better than seeing a firework display at the national mall. But wait, check out this list of all the festivities going on that day:

Parade: 11:45 a.m. - 2 p.m.

A Capital Fourth Concert: 8-9:30 p.m.

A Capitol Fourth concert on the U.S. Capitol's west lawn will feature the following artists this year: Hunter Hayes, Barry Manilow, Alabama, Nicole Scherzinger, Meghan Linsey, KC and The Sunshine Band, Lang Lang, Ronan Tynan, Robert Davi, Jack Everly, National Symphony Orchestra, Choral Arts Society of Washington and more! Fireworks: 9:15 p.m . (17 minutes long) The fireworks are launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and light up the sky over the Washington Monument.

Sparkle activities begin at 7:30 p.m. with a concert by Gringo Jingo performing the best of Santana. F ireworks display will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. Two shuttle bus stops are available, beginning at 6:15 pm, at Westfield Wheaton Metro Parking Garage adjacent to the JC Penney Department Store and the north building parking lot adjacent to Macy's Department Store.
