Despite many tips, no suspects in fatal Baltimore shooting of rapper Lor Scoota

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say even though detectives have gotten more tips about the fatal shooting of a local rapper than any other crime, officers have not identified a suspect in the slaying.

Spokesman T.J. Smith said at a news conference Monday that investigators still need the public's help in finding the person who shot 23-year-old Tyriece Travon Watson Saturday evening.

Martin, whose stage name was Lor Scoota, was shot while he was driving near Morgan State University. A Baltimore City councilmember said that Watson had been at a charity basketball game at Morgan State before being shot.

Smith said anyone who had had photos or videos of the event that Watson attended, or of anything that happened between the time Watson left campus and was shot, should send them to police.
