Damascus football team pressing on after sex assault arrests; coach declines to comment

The Damascus High School varsity football team is pressing on in the Maryland state playoffs after five students were charged with rape and attempted rape for an alleged incident in a locker room.

The suspects and four victims were reportedly junior varsity players.

The incident reportedly involved a broomstick.

FOX 5's Josh Rosenthal reported from Damascus High School on Thursday and asked a coach for an explanation. The coach, who declined to identify himself, refrained from discussing the allegations with FOX 5. (Watch in the video player above)
