Barricade situation closed roads in Capitol Heights

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. - Police have cleared the scene of a barricade situation in Prince George's County. Officers say the incident began at a house on Tunic Avenue near the intersection of Central Avenue in Capitol Heights.

There were several road closures and detours in the area for much of the afternoon. The barricade was first reported around 8:20 a.m.

No one was taken into custody following the incident. It is unclear what prompted the incident to begin.
