1 dead after double shooting in southeast
A man is dead after a double shooting Wednesday night in southeast D.C.
D.C. police say the shooting happened at 8:27 p.m. in the 3000 block of Randle Place.
Police say the man was hospitalized and later died. Officers say a female juvenile victim suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries.
Metro Transit Police say the shooting happened on the sidewalk and not on a bus. D.C. police detained a bus at the scene to see if any cameras on the bus recorded anything related to the incident.
Police are on the lookout for a black male between 17 and 18 years old wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black hat.
At this time officers have no suspects or motives.
