DISC GOLF COURSE AT LANCASTER PARK: Throwers of all ages can enjoy playing on this 18-hole course. Designed on a former housing subdivision, its fairways are lined with trees and empty roads that can challenge anyone.
ELM'S BEACH PARK: Head off the beaten path to five hundred feet of shoreline along the Chesapeake Bay. Enjoy the beautiful views of this peaceful space or go for a swim.
NICOLET PARK: Lots of activities for the family here. Take the kids to beat the heat this summer at this cool sprayground where they'll love running through the rainbow arch and super spray! Enjoy picnicking or check out the skate park.
THE UNITED STATE COLORED TROOPS MEMORIAL MONUMENT AT LANCASTER PARK: This bronze statue is a tribute to the U.S. Colored Troops of Saint Mary's County who served in the civil war. It honors two troops who were awarded medals of honor, Sergeant James H. Harris and Private William H. Barnes. Over six-hundred U.S. colored troops from Saint Mary's County served in the war.
PAX RIVER NAVAL AIR MUSEUM AND VISITOR CENTER: Located just outside of the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, this privately-funded museum will be sure to wow you. The museum first opened in 1978 and now spans three buildings. Come see the history of naval aviation through artifacts, books and even a flight line with 22 one-of-a-kind aircraft.
