Washington Redskins rank 5th on list of 'America's Most Hated Companies' says survey

The Washington Redskins organization is on a list no company wants to appear on.

A new survey from 24/7 Wall St. ranked the "Burgundy and Gold" number five on its list of "America's Most Hated Companies."

The list was compiled in part by reviewing major news event from 2018, customer survey results from the American Customer Satisfaction Index and ratings on employee review website Glassdoor.

24/7 Wall St. says the team is on the list after experiencing what they call a "rough 2018." They say accusations from some of the team's cheerleaders regarding what they describe as "degrading treatment" by team, claiming linebacker Reuben Foster following his arrest on domestic violence allegations, and criticism of the team's nickname which some say is a racial slur contributed to the team's ranking on the list.

The survey included 20 companies. JUUL Labs ranked number four, Vice News was listed as number three and Eli Lilly came in at number two.

The survey ranked Facebook at number one on the list. 24/7 Wall St. says the social media company has had a string of recent pubic relation disasters including the handling of the Cambridge Analytica data incident.
