Report: Wizards' John Wall fined for cursing out head coach Scott Brooks at practice

The Washington Wizards have reportedly fined star point guard John Wall after he cursed out head coach Scott Brooks during practice.

The incident happened at a recent practice in which Brooks challenged Wizards players to raise their intensity. However, Wall responded back to Brooks, "F--- you," according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wall has apologized both to his head coach and teammates, sources tell Wojnarowski.

News of this incident comes after several reports have indicated that the franchise is willing to trade any player on its roster, including Wall and fellow NBA All-Star Bradley Beal.

Wall signed a four-year, $170 million "supermax" extension last year that will begin in the 2019-20 season. Meanwhile, Beal is in the third year of a 5-year, $128 million contract and fellow teammate Otto Porter also has three years left in a $106.5 million contract he also signed last year.

After making the playoffs in four of the previous five seasons, the Wizards have struggled this year, starting the season off with a 5-11 record, including two home losses to the Brooklyn Nets and Portland Trail Blazers this past weekend.
