Lili Zheng
Lili Zheng joined FOX 5 as a freelance reporter in August 2023 after four years of working in Dallas-Fort Worth. While in the Lone Star state, Lili worked as a general assignment reporter for the local NBC affiliate and covered everything from politics to breaking news. Her time there included the COVID-19 pandemic, protests amid civil unrest in 2020, and the deadly ice storm of 2021 when millions of Texans lost power for a week due to failures of the Texas power grid. Prior to her time in Texas, she worked in Oklahoma City as a reporter for KFOR, reporting from the Oklahoma State Capitol and also covered several major weather events.
Her career started in Salisbury, Maryland, where she worked as an anchor/reporter and producer for WMDT, 47abc. She is a graduate of Temple University and a southern Maryland native, now working for the station she grew up watching.
