The two turkeys that will be pardoned by President Donald Trump ahead of this year's Thanksgiving celebration have arrived in Washington, D.C.

The National Turkey Federation has delivered the birds, named Wishbone and Drumstick, to the Willard Intercontinental Hotel where they will relax ahead of Tuesday's official ceremony in the Rose Garden of the White House.

After the pardoning, the turkeys will join last year's birds at Virginia Tech's "Gobblers Rest" exhibit. This is the 70th anniversary of the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation.

Both turkeys were raised in Western Minnesota by the National Turkey Federation.

The First Family will donate two additional turkeys to Martha's Table, a Washington, D.C. non-profit organization.
