President Trump announces leader of initiative for Historically Black Colleges and Universities

President Donald Trump announced a new leader for a White House initiative for Historically Black Colleges and Universities on Tuesday.

Trump named Johnny Taylor Jr., the former president of the Thurgood Marshall College fund, the chairman of the White House's Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Trump's administration said the move would help improve Historically Black Colleges and Universities participation in federal programs and create better opportunities in higher education.
