President Abraham Lincoln honored on 209th anniversary of his birth

A wreath-laying and observance ceremony is taking place at D.C.'s Lincoln Memorial Monday to mark the two-hundred and ninth anniversary of the birth of the nation's sixteenth President.

Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky in 1809. He held office from 1861 until his assassination in 1865.
