FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - Crews are at the scene after a tanker truck flipped onto its side on the I-495 Inner Loop on the American Legion Bridge Thursday afternoon.
Along with the tanker truck, three other cars were involved in the crash.
One person suffered minor injuries in the crash. The tanker truck driver escaped without injury.
Multiple agencies are at the scene, including a HazMat crew. Officials say the crew is working to contain a substance that spilled when the tanker overturned.
The tanker truck's owner, James River Petroleum, says special response personnel were dispatched.
